Norpro Mini Mixer

The Nopro mini-mixer is currently not available in New Zealand anywhere else. I’ve been ordering them in from the USA. This mini mixer is key to successful emulsion making. The high shear from the mixing ensures proper emulsion, but the mixer is small enough that it can fit into the small beaker easily. Has several attachments, but the most important one is the shear mixer.

This is not like a milk-frother. Milk frothers are unsuitable because they incorporate too much air into the emulsion. It’s in the name: ‘froth’.

This one is the same one as demonstrated and used by Formula Botanica.
